Hi folks,

My name is Claudio Walter SUALDIN the CEO of "Arpa Bilanciata". I live in the north of Italy, in a beautiful (and sometimes: windy) town named Trieste.
I'm and I was always enthousiast about music. This enthousiasm led to a passion for a fantastic instrument: the Harp.
 
I started to build harps many years ago and I appreciated their timber, their soul, their construction.
But at the same time I was concerned about their critical points, recognized everywhere by every harpist, apparently without a real solution.
 
Tha sound of a normal harp is indeed the weakest in an orchestra. It is, indeed, easily covered by just a couple of violins, if they play simultaneously together with the harp. Even the sustain of a normal harp is not great at all.
 
My concernings helped me to study and to find a solution, in order to get better sound's power, higher sustain, keeping and increasing the sweetness, the gentlness, of the timber and the harmonics.
Thus I designed, realized and patented the Balanced Harp.
This structure, esthetically identical to a conventional harp, gives the maximum you can get from this instrument, enhancing its beauty and its soul.
 
It has,indeed, more power in the sound and it gives more projection of it towards the listeners. The Balanced Harp has also higher sustain rather than a normal harp: around 30-40% more.
 
I got so enthousiast about this Balanced Harp, that I really decided to build only this kind of harps and to propose them worldwide, with the goal to satisfy the most demanding situations and the most demanding harpist.
